The Role

In this role you will be responsible for all Managed Services activities within the organization, providing technical expertise to our new/existing platforms including architecting changes and developing their evolving solutions. The Managed Services specialist will need to identify customer needs for customised operational support, assessments, migration services and other consulting or managed services. Responsibilities include uncovering customer requirements, performing due diligence activities, and solution development by understanding the customer’s business challenges and customising a solution to fit their business needs. The candidate must posses strong technical knowledge and be able to comfortably work with senior IT staff and management as well as third party vendors and associates.

Requirements

Key responsibilities:

    • Provide consultation to clients to identify the best solution for their needs.
    • Facilitate knowledge transfer/consulting around certain solutions and best practices within in the M365 environment.
    • Proactively identify and suggest upcoming Microsoft features, updates to outdated/misused features etc.
    • Analyse and resolve complex incidents within Support Level Agreement timeframes.
    • Excellent communication: consistently updating support tickets internally and to the client to ensure your work is well documented and the client is always aware of the status of their issues and requests.
    • Work on Continual Improvement projects for clients including consultation and business analysis, workshops etc., development and implementation of solutions for periodic releases.
    • Provide internal support and assistance to the broader company.
    • Develop and implement enhancements and features to internal systems.
    • Document best practices, newly identified issues and resolutions for clients, create knowledge articles to improve the clients support experience.
    • Work with the managed services team to offer the best service possible, and constantly improve on our service offerings

    Required Skills and Experience:

      • Experience across Microsoft platforms, including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Azure and the broader Microsoft 365 platform
      • Exposure with Power Platform
      • Experience with front-end web technologies is a plus! Including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Bootstrap, jQuery, SASS, PowerShell
      • Experience developing web-services and integration with 3rd party web-services
      • Experience with Test Driven Development, utilising unit testing and continuous integration and deployment.
      • Ability to work from own initiative and within a team environment,
      • Self-motivated and driven to achieve professional success in a challenging but exciting environment,
      • Ability to manage workload and time according to set deadlines to ensure SLA’s are met
